The Kitchen at The Hub will offer multiple, flexible food preparation spaces, with five burner gas range and 900 mm electric oven, with full extraction. A 1000 L refrigeration space serves as an initial chilled offering, with aspirations to extend this and add freezer space, accompanied with increased food  and equipment storage capacity.  The Hub aims to provide an array of food preparation equipment for users to produce & enjoy food along with equipment sterilisation and washing facilities.

The kitchen will be available for booking at $10 per hour. In addition hire of the kitchen allows access to the communal table for dining activities.

All kitchen users must fulfil their obligations under the Food Act 2014 and hold any relevant food hygiene certification when using the kitchen for enterprise purposes.

The kitchen is currently under development progressing towards immediate functionality, with users contributing to the final shape of the space and development priorities.
